Brooks County ISD is a public school district located in South Texas. Our district supports and educates approximately 1,400 students each school year in a very supportive community with history and character.
Brooks County ISD was designated as a District of Innovation and each year has proved to increase student academic success and opportunities. The district is home to four campuses: Lasater Elementary (PK-3 through Kindergarten), Falfurrias Elementary (1st through 5th), Falfurrias Jr. High (6th through 8th), and Falfurrias High School (9th through 12th). In 2022, Brooks County ISD received a "B Rating" from the Texas Education Agency with growth and improvements made from the last rated school year.
Our district offers extensive opportunities to experience and find our what they love as learners, including a full range of extracurricular and co-curricular activities and dual credit college and advanced placement courses. At BCISD, we also aggressively recruit effective and qualified staff, giving them support and resources so that they are equipped to provide the best possible experience for our students.
